Attached, more photos from my trip and tour of the Royall House.  Enjoy!

Slave Quarters. Two rooms with an outkitchen. The archeological exhibit is housed there.

Entry to the slave quarters, as seen from the utility entryway from the house.

The archway was part of a petit palais formerly on the Royall property. The pineapples capping the fenceposts were a popular decorative flourish during the Royalls' time. They both symbolized hospitality, and were occasionally used in slave advertisements (particularly later on when slavery was increasingly technically outlawed).

Royall House through the fence, across Royall Park.

Main Street in Medford, in front of Royall Park. People walking or riding down this street would have seen a magnificent mansion oriented for their awestruck enjoyment.
